West Coast Vacuum Heat Treating Market Overview

In 2009, Solar Atmospheres, Inc. decided to open a new facility in southern California.  This expansion was designed to broaden Solar’s market share in the West Coast vacuum heat treating market. Solar’s unique large furnace capabilities in Pennsylvania have serviced a number of West Coast manufacturers so a customer base has been established that allows them easier access to our company.

Location

Located in Fontana, California (40 miles away from Los Angeles), Solar Atmospheres of California assists the aerospace, titanium and super alloys markets.  Approximately 22,000 square feet of plant space on 2.5 acres to houses the furnaces. The states serviced by this plant's vacuum heat treating on the West Coast will be California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Utah.

Features and Capabilities

This new plant offers vacuum heat treating, vacuum brazing and vacuum carburizing.  Customers will receive the unsurpassed quality and value that the Solar name has established.  Solar Atmospheres of California is ISO 9100/ISO 9001 certified,  NADCAP approved for Heat Treating, and Boeing approved for heat treating. The California facility will serve the 18 industries that are currently being assisted by Solar Atmospheres of both Eastern and Western PA. Link to California furnace capabilities 

Truck dispatch and Pick up services

This plant location allows easy access to vacuum heat treating on the West Coast, especially the counties of Orange, Los Angeles, Ventura, Riverside, San Bernardino & San Diego for pick up and delivery.  With the new facility and size ranges of vacuum furnaces, Solar Atmospheres of California will assist you with the best value added service and consistent quality.
